Baron Norri's castle. Stout, drab, and built on a crag. It is mostly made of excavated stone, hauled long distances.
The castle relies heavily on donkeys and mules raised on the nearby Barri family farm. Most masons in the region answer to Norri in one way or another.
Norri is drab and serious. He is a geologist, alchemist, and astronomer. He is often called to dig in mines himself. Norri's wife Mabba is in charge of correspondence with other barons, and she oversees the heralds. Their children are named Lom, Vitha, and Parl.

The workshop sections in this fortress are divided into a basement, ground-floor, and upper level. The basement stores tools and materials, the ground-floor is where work is done, and above the ground floor are apartments for the people who work there, typically four families per workshop. All basements are interconnected by narrow passages.
Norri also has his own study, and the castle has two staterooms and one ballroom.
