Thief Guildmaster NPC Tables
Overview
Here's some random details for a "boss of thieves" NPC, which may or not help you write NPC's for your tabletop campaign.
These could (with a stretch) apply to a variety of alignments and locales. (In Kingdoms of Kalamar,) Prompeldia, Aasaer, Bet Kalamar, Sobeteta, Zha-nehzmish, Zoa, and Karasta all could have "thieves" in a guild, with different policies and local character.
All thieves in a "thieves guild" probably use rumormongering, forgery, bribery, direct lies, and theft to survive. At least these are the "superpowers" that thief characters can develop.
*You might also find the NPC quirk table helpful (HM5 GMG table 9.8) when you are creating all your lords and schemers and muggers.
